Historic Al Tahoe

Historic Al Tahoe

Let’s Head to Al Tahoe

Have you ever visited the Al Tahoe neighborhood? The Al Tahoe neighborhood has been a favorite neighborhood since before 1900. You might have heard some of the historic names from when the Al Tahoe neighborhood was first built. Some of the first were the Washoe Tribe who who created a summer resort long before any others arrived.

From https://yourtahoeguide.com, Almerin R. Sprague, who built the Al Tahoe Hotel in 1907, or maybe Frank and Esther Globin, who built an over-the-water pavilion and called it Globin’s Chalet. From http://www.tahoehistorytrail.org/at3.html, a judge from Genoa, Seneca Dean, and William Lapham began building the Lake House Hotel in 1859. Is it any wonder why people choose to live and vacation in beautiful Al Tahoe? From the beaches, the Lakeside Commons summer concerts and food trucks, or just admiring the shores of Lake Tahoe, it is one of the most desired neighborhoods in town.

Here in Al Tahoe, you will find original cabins, brick duplexes, modest homes, to luxury lakefronts. Al Tahoe is the place where so many choose to lay their hats.
